Their opponents completed the Premier League double over Chelsea with a 4-2 win, as pressure began to rise on Mauricio Pochettino.

Gibbs was asked after the games were done whether he thought Chelsea had actually upgraded their squad with Caicedo replacing the Italy international.
He said: “I don’t think Moises Caicedo is a worse player than Jorginho. I think he’s got a lot of raw talent, but you have to find the best way to fit him into a team. This Chelsea team is just not fitting for him.
“I don’t think he’s a worse player, he’s just in a worse team.”
Caicedo is going to need to turn around his current form significantly if he is to change the discourse about him right now.
With midfield partner Enzo Fernandez also struggling at this point, perhaps a shake up of what they are being asked to do in the middle of the park would benefit both of them going forwards.
