For the second year running, Arsenal will head into the final weeks of the season at the Premier League summit.
Mikel Arteta's men defied the odds to open up a healthy lead over Manchester City before blowing their chance to bring the champions domestic dominance to an end. But the Gunners are primed to finally end an agonising title drought which now spans two decades.
Arsenal's early exit from the FA Cup enabled them to recharge last weekend while their two title rivals competed in draining affairs, although the international break will leave Arteta and his opposite numbers keeping an anxious eye on developments involving their own players.
Ahead of the long road to Arsenal's seismic encounter against Manchester City at the Etihad in 11 days time, Mirror Football rounds up all the latest news from in and around the Emirates...
Arteta gets transfer boost after trip
Joshua Kimmich would consider a summer switch to Arsenal after being given the green light to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
The Germany international, 29, has fallen out of favour under Thomas Tuchel and will have just 12 months remaining on his current contract in the summer. It's understood Bayern are open to cashing in on the playmaker, who has Premier League suitors.
According to a new report from Sky in Germany, Kimmich would be open to joining the Gunners, Liverpool or Manchester City. He would not, however, consider a move to Manchester United despite previous links with the Red Devils.

Former England midfielder Jermaine Jenas has defended Ben White's decision to withdraw himself from contention for the national team.
The Arsenal defender has been in fine form for the Gunners this season but asked not to be considered for England selection, according to Three Lions chief Gareth Southgate.
White has been criticised in the wake of his decision. Jenas, however, has tried to view the decision from White's perspective and has suggested that the success he's been enjoying with Arsenal may be the driving factor behind his reluctance to to go away with England while he's not first-choice.
