the match is live on Sky Sports, but before that there's the small matter of the other team in the title race - Liverpool - taking on Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield. It could be a pivotal day in the title race, particularly if the Reds win, as they can watch on as at least one of their rivals will drop poonts afterwards.
Jurgen Klopp has the opportunity to guide his team back to the top of the Premier League table with victory over the Seagulls. that would then leave them watching on closely as the two other clubs battle off against one another at the Etihad Stadium.
However, understandably Klopp was not thinking about the second match on Super Sunday as he prepared his team to take on Roberto De Zerbi's side. The Sky Sports coverage was based at the Etihad Stadium, of course, for the second game, but Emma Saunders was alongside Jamie Carragher and special guest Trent Alexander-Arnold at Anfield.
And when Klopp joined them for an interview pre-match, Saunders kicked off her interview by saying: "This is massive today isn't it, the chance to take advantage at the top of the Premier League before at least one of your title rivals drops points this afternoon."
Everyone is talking about the title race, but Klopp knows his side can only do what they can do and not worry about what Arsenal and City are doing.
He delivered an eight-word response to the title talk, saying: "Didn't think a second about the other game to be honest and what it all means and the things around, it's really just about us."
Arsenal will be hoping to go back to the top of the table, if Liverpool do usurp them, by beating City at 4.30pm. It would be the first time they win away at City since 2015.
