The Gunners resisted the temptation to spend in January but are expected to go big in the summer to land a striker.
As we know, both Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen have been linked with moves to Arsenal, while Eddie Nketiah is also being tipped to be sold.
And according to a report from FootballTransfers, Arsenal have now made RB Leipzig striker, Benjamin Sesko, their number one target.
Arsenal want to sign Benjamin Sesko above everyone
According to the report, Arsenal have now decided that Sesko is the man they want to bring in up front.
It’s claimed that, as it stands anyway, the striker is above both Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney in Mikel Arteta’s pecking order. Indeed, it’s suggested Sesko would offer more versatility for the Gunners than the other two mentioned.

Arsenal’s interest in Sesko is not brand new as we know. Indeed, Chelsea are also thought to be keen on adding the exciting 20-year-old Slovenian.

Previous reports have suggested Sesko could be on the move for around £55m.
Edu must get it right
Arsenal did well to hold off on landing a striker in the January window and their patience has been rewarded with the likes of Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard doing well.
But there is still an errant need for a new forward at the club and Benjamin Sesko is one to watch.
Sesko has hit double figures this season in Germany and at just 20, is a huge prospect.
Lauded as an ‘incredible‘ talent by his agent, Sesko could well be the striker Arsenal have dreamed of for years now.
Of course, Edu must get this right and be sure. But on paper, Sesko is definitely a player who improve Arsenal.
