Gyokeres has been in incredible form for Sporting since joining from Coventry last July for £20m. The Swedish international has a remarkable 37 goals and 14 assists in 50 games for club and country this season. His feats include 22 goals in 24 games in the Portuguese top-flight.
It has sparked interest from Arsenal who have been scouting the powerful forward this year. Chelsea representatives have been monitoring his performances closely this season too.
AC Milan have also been linked with a move for Gyokeres but the forward is believed to prefer a switch to the Premier League after starting off his career with Brighton.
The 25 year-old's goals have helped Sporting top the Portuguese league ahead of local rivals Benfica who they beat in the cup to tee up a potential double.
Club officials are focused on completing a memorable domestic season but sources in Portugal expect Sporting to cash in on Gyokeres by demanding €80m this summer.
While on international duty in his homeland, Gyokeres admitted he will assess his future at the end of the campaign, saying: "It's a sign that I've performed well.
"But it's not something I take too seriously, since it's just speculation. But of course, it's fun. We'll see this summer. It's not something I know about myself, what will happen. I enjoy Sporting extremely well and feel no stress about the summer coming quickly.
