These big games rarely live up to the hype, but this was a stinker to end all stinkers.
This was a terrible game of football, and it was disappointing to see Arsenal playing in this way after scoring so many goals this year.
Arsenal were off the pace against City, and there was one player who didn’t really get a foothold in the game.

Arsenal midfielder didn’t look himself against Man City
Speaking on the Handbrake Off Podcast, Adrian Clarke has been discussing Jorginho’s performance against City ahead of the game against Luton.
Clarke says that Jorginho looked really tired against City, and that he would drop the £13m man in the game against Luton in order to get Thomas Partey back in the team.
“I think I would change the left-back, and I would bring in Partey for Jorginho, Jorginho didn’t look quite, he looked tired, I know he came off fairly early, but he had the second-fewest touches in the game.
Dropping Jorginho against Luton would be a risk
We can’t help but think that this would be a mistake.
Jorginho has been Arsenal’s calmest and steadiest player in recent months, and dropping him against a team like Luton would be risky.
Luton aren’t a great footballing outfit, but they do disrupt other players and get in their faces.
Jorginho is much better equipped to work in one of these chaotic games than a player like Partey, especially when you consider Partey’s recent form for Arsenal.
