The Gunners are having a fine season under Mikel Arteta, aren’t they?
Arsenal are currently on top of the Premier League table and are a win away from reaching the semi-final of the Champions League as well.
It has been a fantastic campaign so far, but we’re into the business end of the season now, and this is where we will see what this Arsenal side is really made of.
Irrespective of what happens in the remainder of this season, Arsenal will have to dive into the market this summer to strengthen their squad.
They will also need to move a few players on to raise funds and free up some space.

Arsenal could make Gabriel Jesus decision that will shock everyone
Arsenal signed Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City before the start of last season on a long-term contract.
MORE ARSENAL STORIES
The Brazil international immediately lifted the level of the squad. He had an incredible start to his debut season and played a big part in helping the Gunners become title contenders.
The 27-year-old has had to spend three separate spells on the sidelines due to injury. He has lacked continuity this season, which has really affected his performances.
Arsene Wenger has publicly claimed that injuries are the reason why Jesus hasn’t been scoring enough goals for Arsenal.
Kai Havertz has become Mikel Arteta’s main striker as a result, and Jesus has had to drop his ego and play on the wings or stay on the bench.
With the summer window coming up, Arsenal are expected to sign a new striker. That casts a shadow on Jesus’ future, and TuttoJuve have shared the latest on the situation.
The report claims that Jesus wants to honour his contract and is not thinking of quitting, but the Brazilian could apparently secure a loan move elsewhere.
Italian giants Juventus are said to be carefully monitoring the situation and are ready to pounce if an opportunity arises to sign Jesus on loan.
That, in our opinion, would be a real shock if it happened this summer.
Three reasons why Arsenal should consider selling Gabriel Jesus
It is extremely unlikely that Arsenal will consider getting rid of Gabriel Jesus this summer.
Mikel Arteta loves the Brazilian, and his work-rate and versatility in attack gives the Arsenal boss plenty of options every single week.
However, here are three reasons why Arsenal should consider selling Jesus this summer:
Money: Arsenal paid £45 million (BBC) to sign Gabriel Jesus, and he is their second highest-paid player as well, earning an eye-watering £265,000 every week (Spotrac). The Brazilian, now 27, is in his prime, and with over three years still left on his contract, the Gunners could make some good money if they sell him and also save on his huge wages.
Injury-prone: Gabriel Jesus has had multiple injury issues since he joined Arsenal. He has missed over 180 days of football, which is not great at all. What’s more concerning is that the striker could need another operation on his knee in the summer.
Game time: Arsenal are almost guaranteed to sign a new striker this summer and possibly a new winger as well. Jesus is already behind Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard in the pecking order, and new additions will further push him down, which means he will not get enough game time. Having a player who won’t be a regular starter on such huge wages doesn’t make much sense, does it?
Jesus is a brilliant player when he’s fit and firing, but if Arsenal get a good offer for him in the summer, we think they should seriously consider it.
