The Premier League title race is firmly in Manchester City’s hands after they defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 on Tuesday evening.
Arsenal now must beat Everton and rely on West Ham United to draw or defeat The Citizens at the Etihad Stadium to win the title.
That said, there is still a glimmer of hope for Mikel Arteta’s side and they must prepare for every possible eventuality.
Carragher has already got his final-day predictions in.
Jamie Carragher convinced Arsenal will beat Everton
Speaking on Sky Sports’ commentary during Tottenham with City, Carragher admitted that he’s convinced both Arsenal and The Citizens will beat their final-day opponents.
“I know we have got to build the games up for Sky but I can assure you that they both win,” the former Liverpool defender said.
Indeed, if that were to happen, City would win the Premier League title for the fourth time in a row – becoming the first side to achieve such a feat.
David Moyes will want to end on a high
When West Ham travel to Man City on the final day, it will mark the end of David Moyes’ Hammers career, as he is set to depart at the end of his contract in the summer.
So he will want to end on a high which will give him added motivation to win and cause an upset in the title race.
So that notion may provide Arsenal fans with some hope.
