Striker’s agent pushes for Arsenal move, lucrative deal on the table

Joorabchian’s close relationship with Arsenal’s sporting director Edu could be a key factor in securing the deal, with a lucrative contract already on the table for the young Dutch forward.

Arsenal are a top contender for Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, with his agent Kia Joorabchian pushing for a move to the Emirates Stadium according to reports from Italy. The 22-year-old Dutch forward has had a breakout season in Serie A, attracting interest from several clubs, including AC Milan. However, Zirkzee‘s agent reportedly sees a move to Arsenal as the most lucrative option.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Joorabchian has a close relationship with Arsenal‘s sporting director Edu, and is confident he can secure a favourable deal for both the player and himself. A four-year contract worth €5 million per year is reportedly already on the table for Zirkzee, a significant increase from his current wages.

Milan, who have been tracking Zirkzee for some time, are keen to bring the striker to the San Siro to fill the void left by former Arsenal forward, Olivier Giroud. However, they face stiff competition from Arsenal, who are reportedly willing to match Bologna‘s €40 million asking price.

The decision ultimately rests with Zirkzee, but the lure of a lucrative contract and the chance to play in the Premier League could prove too tempting to resist. Arsenal‘s strong financial position and Joorabchian‘s influence could sway the deal in their favour, leaving Milan disappointed in their pursuit of the talented striker.

As the summer transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on Zirkzee and his agent, as they weigh their options and decide on the next chapter in the young striker’s career.
