Arsenal transfer news, £42 million defender linked, Zinchenko update, striker ready to leave

Here is the latest transfer news coming out of Arsenal which includes a link to a Sporting Lisbon ace as well as an update on a forward signing.
Ousmane Diomande
One potential incoming that would be a very exciting one at the Emirates Stadium would be Sporting Lisbon defender Ousmane Diomande.

According to Portuguese outlet Corriero De Manha, Sporting would be willing to sell the defender but only at the right price. The Gunners have been linked with the defender for a long time.

Diomande, according to the report, has a release clause set at £68 million but with no club willing to go near that figure, the Portuguese giant have lowered that to £42 million.

This new price could bring Arsenal to the table as the Gunners remain interested, according to the Portuguese outlet.

Eddie Nketiah
Sales will be key for Arsenal this summer if they are to splash the cash in the off-season to try and win their first Premier League title since 2004.

A new striker is said to be a key target but the Gunners may need to sell first and Fulham are ready to make an offer for Eddie Nketiah.

That’s according to TEAMtalk, who claim that the West London club are formulating an offer and talks are reportedly underway between the two clubs.

Nketiah wants game time and he will not get that Arsenal, particularly if Benjamin Sesko moves to the Emirates Stadium.

Semih Kilicsoy
Teenage striker Semih Kilicsoy is causing quite a stir around Europe with multiple top clubs interested in the 18-year-old.

With 11 goals in the Turkish Super Lig, it is perhaps of little surprise that so many teams are keen. HITC have reported that Manchester City and Arsenal are ready to do battle for the Turkish forward.

Kilicsoy’s agent has now confirmed that both clubs are keen, he told Sporx: “I know that clubs such as Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Arsenal, PSG, Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart are watching Semih. We received information about this. But it has not reached the offer stage. At least, there is no offer that has reached us.”

Oleksandr Zinchenko
HITC have reported that Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies looks to be on his way out of Bavaria with Chelsea and Man City keen but the Canadian’s preference is Real Madrid.

In the event that Davies leaves Munich, the German giants were reportedly interested in Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko, but some clarity has been given on the situation.

A post on X from Florian Plettenberg, of Sky Germany, has detailed that the German giants do not consider the Ukrainian a key target this summer and will look elsewhere, which would be a boost for the Gunners.
