Jose Mourinho 'agrees Fenerbahce contract' as new Arsenal signing deal emerges

Jose Mourinho looks set to take the helm at Fenerbahce, but he's already facing a transfer conundrum with reports suggesting Arsenal are eyeing a move for full-back Ferdi Kadioglu.
The 61-year-old Portuguese tactician has reportedly agreed to a two-year stint with the Turkish heavyweights, stepping into a club still reeling from their Super Lig title loss to arch-rivals Galatasaray.

Since his transfer from NEC Nijmegen in 2018, Kadioglu has racked up 199 appearances for Fenerbahce, contributing 17 goals and 22 assists. Gunners fans may have the chance to cast their eye over him this summer, with the 24-year-old having been named in Turkey's Euro 2024 squad.

It is thought that Arsenal are keen to strengthen at left-back as they look to rebuild their squad in an attempt to topple Manchester City at the top of the Premier League. Oleksandr Zinchenko struggled at times last season, with Jakub Kiwior also stepping into the role. Kieran Tierney, who has spent the season on loan at Real Sociedad, looks likely to leave the club this summer.
