The Reds are hoping to bolster their ranks at both ends of the pitch this summer, with the signing of a left-sided centre-back widely viewed as a priority by the higher powers at the club.
Chelsea’s Levi Colwill, Eintracht Frankfurt star Willian Pacho and Benfica’s Antonio Silva are among those linked with the Merseyside outfit, though other options are also expected to be explored.
Liverpool are also in the market for attacking reinforcements, with signing a long-term successor for Mohamed Salah also on the club’s ‘to-do list’.
Countless options have already been linked with the Reds as a result, though La Tercera report that their top target on the right wing has now been identified.
They state that Liverpool are set to table an offer worth £6.8million to £8.5m for Osorio this summer after being impressed by his progress with Midtjylland last season.

The 20-year-old has scored eight and registered two assists in his 24 appearances since joining the Danish outfit, and Liverpool therefore believe that the versatile forward is ‘ready’ to take another significant step up in his career.
An ‘important offer’ is therefore in the works, with the Reds hoping that the prospect of offering Midtjylland a significant sell-on fee will test their resolve and ensure that they can fend off interest from other top European outfits to secure Osorio’s signature.
