The summer is in full flow but there is little time to rest at Liverpool in the coming weeks.

Liverpool 's new head coach Arne Slot has officially started work and will hope to hit the ground running, while Reds stars will be gearing up for EURO 2024 and Copa America after a brief period off. Many will have already joined up with their national sides in advance of the transfer window opening later this month.

With Jurgen Klopp now departed, things are sure to feel a little different on Merseyside and with a summer of comings and goings, there is a prospect they are. A rebuild appeared to start 12 months ago but there remains some uncertainty moving forwards.

Liverpool are never far from being linked with making a move, while Mohamed Salah 's future may yet need to be resolved. Mirror Football takes a look at some of the biggest stories from Anfield with the transfer window looming.

Liverpool star becomes 'chosen one'
Liverpool could receive a offer from Saudi Arabia for goalkeeper Alisson this summer according to reports. The Brazilian is set to be offered a 'monster contract' from the division's negotiators as they attempt to lure him from Anfield.

Talk of a move for the 31-year-old has been specualted on in recent months but with Liverpool preparing for a move for back-up option Caoimhin Kelleher, it would appear unlikely the club lose both. Alisson's ambitions for the moment appear to remain with the club and in Europe as he looks to earning more success.

Darwin Nunez future
Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez's future remains at Liverpool, despite speculation towars the end of the season according to James Pearce. The Reds have no desire to transfer the player and hope to find his potential.

Darwin Nunez has struggled to hit the mark for Liverpool
The reporter said on The Anfield Wrap podcast: “A lot of noise toward the back end of last season about Darwin Nunez, but I’m led to believe that there’s absolutely no desire to be looking to move him on. They believe Slot can work with him and help him fulfil his potential.”

Pearce also outlined that the selection of Slot was made, with working with current players firmly in mind. “I don’t think it will be a massively busy summer," he said.

"When you speak to people about ‘why Slot?’, the big thing was about him really fitting the profile of the players he’ll be inheriting and we don’t think that big changes are needed.

"Yes, a bit of fine-tuning and there are a couple of gaps with Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara moving on. There could be other gaps to fill, for instance, if Liverpool get the kind of offer that would convince them to sell Caoimhin Kelleher. You don’t know who else might push for a move."

Liverpool face transfer battle
Liverpool are set to face competition in their bid to sign Khephren Thuram this summer from Inter, AC Milan and Juventus. The 23-year-old Nice star is drawing plenty of interest this summer, and plans from Juventus to sell Weston McKennie has seen the Reds task made more difficult according to reports in Italy.

Aston Villa are interested in the US international and Juve are hopeful of a €25million deal. They plan to utlise that fee to land Thuram and Atalanta's Teun Koopmeiners, who has also been linked to Anfield.
