Arsenal are thought to be scouting a number of players at the tournament, keeping Edu and his recruitment team very busy.
Earlier this week Arsenal scouts were spotted watching Turkiye’s Ferdi Kadioglu in their win against Czechia.
The right-footed left-back has impressed in Germany, demonstrating his rich ability to invert into midfield.
And whilst Arteta is thought to want to add a new full-back this summer, he also has a number of other positions to solve too.
Signing a marquee central midfielder is perhaps the priority of the club’s summer, someone who can replace Thomas Partey at Arsenal.
And it’s recently emerged that Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich would be keen to move to north London.

Arsenal are interested in signing Kimmich, who could be deemed surplus to Vincent Kompany’s new era at Bayern.
But judging by Kimmich’s performance against Denmark in Germany’s round of 16 win, Kompany could be making a mistake.
Arsenal target Joshua Kimmich hailed as a ‘major asset’ in Euro 2024 win
Although now predominantly a midfielder in his club career, Kimmich once again played as a right-back for Julian Nagelsmann against Denmark.
The 29-year-old is incredibly versatile, explaining his appeal to Arteta, and was celebrated for his performance on Saturday.
Spox shared their review of Kimmich’s performance in Germany’s 2-0 win, saying the defender didn’t allow all of this transfer speculation to affect him.
They wrote: “Kimmich did not allow himself to be distracted by the ongoing speculation about his future at FC Bayern Munich and played a decent game against Denmark.
“He stood extremely high when he had the ball and made his mark. For example, with a great long-range shot in the 7th minute that was saved by Denmark’s keeper Kasper Schmeichel.
“Kimmich’s offensive foul prevented Schlotterbeck’s supposed 1-0 goal from being recognized.”

Sportschau hailed Kimmich as a ‘major asset’ for his country, even if they did make reference to some difficulties the German experienced defensively.
They shared: “In the first few minutes, when Germany were very dominant, the right-back was a major asset and had one of the big chances himself with a great long-range shot (6th minute).
“As Denmark improved, Kimmich was called upon to play more defensively. He had a few problems there and showed that his strengths lie in possession of the ball.”
Arsenal can’t afford to lose Kimmich to Man City this summer
Of course, alongside Arsenal, Manchester City are said to be interested in Kimmich this summer, who could be available for a very reasonable £25m.
And almost as much as Arteta needs a player like Kimmich, Arsenal must prevent the German from heading to their rivals to the league title.
Arsenal won’t find a better player than Kimmich on the market this summer, and if he heads to City then it doesn’t bode well for the Gunners lifting next season’s Premier League title, at all.
