'One day is Sesko done, one day is Osimhen coming' - Romano reveals true situation of Arsenal's transfer dilemma

Arsenal are undecided on the choice of striker to consider in the summer transfer window. The Gunners have been recently linked with a move for Victor Osimhen and Benjamin Sesko.
Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli this summer and has a release clause of about 130 million euros, while Sesko has reportedly agreed to join the club for a fee of around 35-40 million euros.

Offering insights into Arsenal's transfer considerations, renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shed light on the situation. Romano revealed that discussions are ongoing within the Arsenal camp regarding the striking options.

However, he emphasized that the club is prioritizing a prudent approach to spending, opting for strategic investments rather than extravagant outlays.

"Everyday we have a different rumour. One day is Sesko done, one day is Osimhen coming, one day is Gyökeres, one day it's this, one day it's that" Romano said on his YouTube page.

"Let Arsenal work, they are discussing internally about the striker, considering all the options they have, and they will decide what they want to do, also based on budget."

Despite the speculation, Arsenal are yet to finalize any decisions regarding Osimhen, Sesko, or any other potential targets.

Romano assured fans that the club will reach a verdict soon, but emphasized the need for patience as negotiations unfold.

"Arsenal don't want to spend completely crazy money. They want to spend smart money on the striker and this is why Arsenal have not decided anything at all on Victor Osimhen or any other target yet. It will be soon."

In the midst of the transfer saga, Osimhen finds himself sidelined with injury.

The Nigerian striker is expected to be out of action for four to five weeks, ruling him out of contention for the crucial World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and the Republic of Benin.
