TRANSFER UPDATE:Arsenal now want to sign 26-year-old Holland international this summer, a FANTASTIC goal keeper

Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a move for Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow this summer.

The Gunners signed David Raya on a season-long loan last summer from Brentford and they are expected to make his move permanent by triggering his buy clause.
Raya’s arrival meant Aaron Ramsdale struggled for game time last term, with the latter featuring in only six Premier League games.

Ramsdale is expected to leave the Emirates Stadium in search of a new challenge, and that’s why Arsenal are looking to bring in a new goalkeeper.

According to VoetbalPrimeur, the North London giants are targeting a move for Feyenoord’s Justin Bijlow.

However, they face competition from their league rivals Liverpool for the 26-year-old.

Alisson Becker has been the Reds’ number one goalkeeper but they are looking to add another, with Caoimhin Kelleher likely to leave.

Bijlow has spent all his career at Feyenoord, with the 26-year-old making over 100 appearances for the Dutch outfit so far.

He posted impressive statistics last season at De Kuip, earning eight clean-sheets in 17 Eredivisie appearances.

However, his injury record is a big concern for the Gunners as he missed 16 league matches due to fitness issues last campaign.

Mikel Arteta’s side could still go ahead and sign him due to the lesser workload as a back-up.
