With the European championships ongoing, the Reds are yet to reach the final stages of any potential new signing; however, that could change very soon. Juventus star Adrien Rabiot is the latest to be linked with an Anfield switch, joining the likes of Jamal Musiala, Florian Wirtz, Xavi Simons and Nico Williams, who have all impressed in Germany.
Given how the summer tournament is taking centre stage, several other top clubs have taken an interest in the aforementioned names. Regarding either Simons or Williams, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayern Munich have all been linked to at least one of those names. Xavi Simons 'transfer decision'
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Simons has formally informed Paris Saint-Germain that he wants to leave the club this summer, however only on another loan move.

RB Leipzig, which is where he spent last season, are keen to bring him back with Bayern also linked while Arsenal and Man United are said to have made contact.
Asked specifically about returning to the French capital, he replied: "I was happy in Paris. Things have happened. Now I was in Leipzig this year. We'll see after the Euros."
Nico Williams on future
Like Simons, Nico Williams has also spoken out on his future though his verdict was very different. As quoted by Fabrizio Romano, he told La1: “I’ve just signed new deal at Athletic few weeks ago, I feel very good there.
