Though some players have already been doing fitness work in Marbella, they’ll all have this week off before linking back up with the squad for the proper start of pre-season on the 15th.
As previously reported, there will be no trip to the Adidas training centre in Germany this year. With Euro 2024 going on in the country, Arsenal opted against that camp this year.
There’s been some talk of a behind-closed-doors friendly before the squad then head off to the United States on July 21st, but the rest of the schedule is pretty packed.
Arsenal will kick off their public pre-season friendlies against Bournemouth on Wednesday, July 24th at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles at 03:30 BST, before playing Manchester United and Liverpool to complete the tour.
On their return to London, the Gunners will play an Emirates Stadium friendly against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday, August 7th at 18:00 BST, then the Emirates Cup against Lyon on Sunday, August 11th at 14:00 BST.
