Arsenal continue to work on potential new additions this summer as Mikel Arteta gears up for another Premier League campaign.
After narrowly missing out on the Premier League title for the second year in a row, Arsenal want to go one step further this time around.
Arsenal have secured David Raya’s future, striking a deal to make the goalkeeper’s loan move into a permanent one.
Gunners fans are now waiting for the arrival of Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori.
HITC understands that Arsenal have agreed a deal in principle for the Bologna ace and his arrival is just a matter of time.
Arsenal continue to be linked with other deals though, so let’s take a look at some potential ins and outs.
Viktor Gyokeres
Arsenal continue to be linked with potential striker signings and Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres is in the mix.

Correio da Manha claim that Arsenal now want to see Gyokeres in action for Sporting this summer.
It’s stated that Arsenal’s interest in Gyokeres has ‘cooled’ due to the Swede undergoing surgery on his knee.
Gyokeres hit 43 goals in all competitions last season but Arsenal now want to see how he has recovered from surgery before chasing a deal.
Mikel Merino
Arsenal want to bring in a midfielder this summer and Arteta may launch a raid on his former club Real Sociedad.
Mikel Merino – formerly of Newcastle United – is a key target for Arsenal and reports in Spain have offered some encouragement.
Estadio Deportivo claim that Merino has snubbed a potential move to Chelsea in favour of holding out for Arsenal.
Merino believes that Arsenal’s style of play suits him perfectly, meaning he prefers that move over joining Chelsea.
The Gunners are leading the race right now but Arsenal must still agree a fee for Merino in order to reunite him with Martin Odegaard.
Emile Smith Rowe
Midfielder Emile Smith Rowe is understandably attracting interest.
The 23-year-old only started three Premier League games last season and his career is in danger of stalling at the Emirates Stadium.
The Athletic claim that Fulham have already had one bid rejected for Smith Rowe and other Premier League teams are keen.
Arteta would prefer to sell other players first and is allegedly a ‘huge fan’ of Smith Rowe, meaning the Gunners may yet stand firm and keep him in North London.
Eddie Nketiah
One departure which appears to be moving closer is Eddie Nketiah’s move to Marseille.
Marseille have just snapped up Mason Greenwood and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and are keen to make Nketiah their latest Premier League addition.
HITC understands that Nketiah has now agreed personal terms to join Marseille.
The problem is that Marseille are refusing to pay the £50million fee Arsenal are demanding for Nketiah, meaning there is work to be done on a deal.
