The Gunners have improved over the past few years, becoming regular Premier League title challengers after years outside of the top four.
Next season, Arsenal will want to get the job done and finally win the title for the first time since 2004.
The Gunners have been linked with many top players in recent months, including one of the Premier League’s most highly sought-after strikers.
Now, Declan Rice has waxed lyrical about said player, saying he has become really good friends with the “unbelievable” talent.

Declan Rice hails ‘unbelievable’ Arsenal target Ivan Toney
The player in question is Brentford star Ivan Toney, who is said to be a long-term target for the Gunners.
Rice and Toney are currently on England duty at Euro 2024, and will be eager to continue making history when they face Spain in the final.
Not only have the Three Lions reached consecutive finals at the Euros, but they have reached their first ever major tournament final on foreign soil.
Rice, speaking to reporters at an England press conference – via talkSPORT – spoke highly of Toney.
“With Ivan, I think we have just clicked,” he said. “Ever since he got into the squad, we just got on.
“I think even from his time at Brentford, you know, we used to speak all the time after games and stuff, swap shirts… we have always got on and we are really close now, which is really nice.
“We spend a lot of time together and just even seeing him the other night – when he got his first minutes, made the impact, got the assist, obviously took his pen like he did – it was just incredible.
“He has been unbelievable in this tournament for the whole squad, so, yeah, he is a really, really good friend of mine now.”
Arsenal need a Toney-type player
Toney has well and truly proven himself in both the Premier League and at international level, showing how world-class he is, and there’s no doubt a big career move now beckons for him.
Last year, Jamie Carragher told Sky Sports that Toney is “one of the best attacking players in the league”, while Thomas Frank deemed him “the best penalty taker in the world”.
Toney, who reportedly has a £60million price tag, would be a superb signing for Arsenal, as he is a prolific striker who would provide a focal point up front.
As the Gunners arguably lost crucial points due to not having an out-and-out No. 9 last term, such a signing should be a priority at N5.
