Mikel Arteta is still waiting to see his first addition of the summer walk through the doors at the Emirates.
A number of areas could be identified as needing minor improvements at Arsenal following their title push which fell just short last season.

Arsenal keen on Viktor Gyokeres with Chelsea keeping tabs
The Swedish was one of Europe’s most prolific strikers last term but he had minor knee surgery at the end of the season which meant was not in the position to move.
Now, he is fit – and his suitors have not forgotten about him – TBR Football understands that Arsenal and Chelsea have both been keeping tabs on his progress.
Sporting boss Ruben Amorim has stayed put and wants Gyokeres to stay with him, and only wants the club to accept his release clause of around £85million – but sources with knowledge of the situation have told TBR that the belief is that Sporting would consider a deal closer to £60m for the Swede.
Liverpool and Tottenham also keen on Viktor Gyokeres
The two London sides are not the only clubs showing an interest in the former Coventry City striker with TBR understanding Liverpool and Tottenham also have a long-term interest in the player.
Gyokeres showed stunning form last season having netted 43 goals across all competitions for Sporting CP.
Labelled as ‘unbelievable‘ Gyokeres finds himself as one of the most in-demand strikers this summer with significant interest from the Premier League.
However, a move this summer could largely depend on whether Sporting will accept an offer below the striker’s £85m release clause.
