The Italian is said to have agreed a contract with the Gunners already, and now, a fee just needs to be agreed with Bologna.
However, as Arsenal fans know all too well, a deal isn’t done until an announcement is made, and with Chelsea and PSG recently linked, Arsenal may be wary of a hijack.
Luckily for Arsenal, by the sound of things, the player is absolutely sold on the idea of moving to the Emirates.
Indeed, according to Fabrizio Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, Calafiori is so keen on a move to Arsenal that he’s become obsessed with the idea of playing for the Gunners.

Romano shared what he knows about the ‘amazing’ defender.
“Arsenal have the match point to sign Riccardo Calafiori, an agreement with the player, and I can guarantee that the player is obsessed with the opportunity to go to Arsenal and he really loves the idea, loves the project and loves the possibility to play under a top coach like Mikel Arteta,” Romano said.

Calafiori move a matter of time
It would appear it’s only a matter of time before Calafiori becomes an Arsenal player.
Indeed, you don’t get to this point where a player becomes obsessed with signing for your club only for the plug to be pulled.
Of course, as we’ve seen many times, anything can happen in the transfer window, but, at this point, it would be a serious shock if Calafiori ended up joining any club other than Arsenal this summer.
A fee just needs to be agreed between Arsenal and Bologna, and then Calafiori will get his dream move to the north London club.
Calafiori is obsessed with joining Arsenal, and he may well get his wish.
