Arsenal could now see their summer market spring into life as they look to complete their second signing of the window.
Mikel Arteta has been made to wait for his first signing of the summer but it has arrived the form of young goalkeeper Charlie Setford.

However, the Gunners could quickly double their tally of arrivals with Riccardo Calafiori potentially set to follow the youngster to north London.

And there is another player who Arsenal would like to sign this summer that could soon cause a big stir in the transfer

The deal to bring Calafiori in to the Emirates could be just what Arsenal need to really kickstart their summer of spending.

Having finished just two points behind Manchester City last season, Arsenal may not need a huge number of additions over the coming weeks.

But a real focus on quality could be exactly what the Gunners need to see them finally get their hands back on the Premier League crown.

And there is one player who is on the market this summer that would certainly prove to be a quality addition in Dani Olmo.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Olmo is one of the players who needs to be watched over the coming weeks in the summer transfer market.

“Dani Olmo has been on Bayern’s list since May, but it will depend on the evolutions on the [Xavi] Simons and Desire Doue negotiations,” he said.

“There’s still no bid for Olmo, but it could be one to watch in the next weeks for several clubs. Leipzig are open to selling if the proposal will be around €60m (£50m).”

If anyone needed a reminder of the quality which Olmo possess, this summer’s Euros showed just what the Spaniard was capable of.

With Pedri suffering an injury in the quarter final against Germany, Olmo picked up more responsibility and he certainly repaid the faith put in him.

In that game alone, Olmo returned a goal and an assist as he ended the tournament with three goals, two assists and a winner’s medal.

The ‘unbelievable‘ midfielder is a player who is on the radar of some of Europe’s biggest clubs and the Gunners are one which certainly have an interest.
