The Gunners are closing in on their first signing of the window in Riccardo Calafiori and are now beginning to shift their focus to other targets.
They’ve submitted a staggeringly low bid for Wolves goalkeeper Dan Bentley and are thought to be looking at Spain’s jet-heeled winger Nico Williams.
Another Euro 2024 star has also been on their radar and he dreaming of a move to North London.

Jeremie Frimpong dreaming of move to Arsenal
According to Sport Bild, Netherlands and Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong is dreaming of a move to Arsenal.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a marvellous season with the Bundesliga champions, netting 14 times whilst laying on 12 assists.
Suitors have been put on red alert after it emerged that he had a £35m release clause on his contract which is due to expire a week after the Euro 2024 final.
The report further claims that Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City are all dream destinations for Frimpong as well as The Emirates.
Liverpool are thought to be the club who have most recently made contact to sign him.
Arsenal should stay clear
Whilst Frimpong is evidently a top player with a reasonable release clause, Arsenal should steer away from the deal as he doesn’t really fit Arteta’s system.
The Netherlands international plied his trade as a right midfielder for much of last season, so he’d essentially be competing with Bukayo Saka if he were to join.
Quite Simply, funds could be better spent elsewhere.
