Mikel Arteta is seriously ramping up his transfer plans now after a slow start to the window.
Riccardo Calafiori is nearing a switch to North London and they’re also keen to add another Euro 2024 star in Nico Williams, who is also a target of Barcelona.
A striker is still one of the areas Arsenal are looking to strengthen in too and it’s just come to light that they have added a £25m-rated one to their shortlist.

Arsenal eyeing Jonathan David
According to Caught Offside, Arsenal have added Lille and Canada striker Jonathan David to their transfer shortlist.
The 23-year-old has been linked to a number of Premier League clubs in recent weeks, including Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.
West Ham United are also thought to be in the race for his signature and could hold talks with him this week.
David has one year remaining on his contract and is thought to be available for a discounted price worth £25m.
He netted 26 times last term whilst laying on nine assists, helping Lille to a fourth-placed finish in Ligue 1.
Brian Brobbey among Arsenal targets
Ajax frontman Brian Brobbey is also on Arsenal’s list of striking options and TBR reported earlier this week that they’re confident about landing his signature.
Though, they face competition from Manchester United who are also interested in striking a deal for the £30m-rated man.
A busy few weeks lie ahead for sporting director Edu Gaspar, who continues to work on a deal for Calafiori and potentially Williams, too.
