Right now, one year to the day since Arsenal signed Declan Rice, they still have a lot of work to do in what remains of the transfer market.

Fortunately for the club’s prospects of moving quickly, Euro 2024 has now ended, albeit in disappointing circumstances for England.
Arsenal potentially need to recruit two new goalkeepers, a left-sided defender, a central midfielder and someone who can provide better competition in attacking positions.
Those five targets will of course depend on who leaves the club, particularly in the case of Aaron Ramsdale.
Southampton have shown interest in signing Ramsdale, but it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will find a buyer.
However, Ramsdale will likely leave on loan if not, in an attempt to protect the goalkeeper’s future value.
That being said, Arsenal will therefore need to recruit a new number two, someone who can compete with Euro 2024 winner David Raya.
Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin currently considering an offer from Arsenal
Although he was a regular starter for Real Madrid last season, Andriy Lunin lost his place under Ancelotti for the Champions League final when Thibaut Courtois was fit again – something which didn’t go down well.
As a result, and according to Spanish source AS, Lunin is considering his future at Madrid and currently has a ‘truly brilliant’ offer from Arsenal.

Lunin is currently ‘not clear’ on what decision he’ll make according to the same report, a 25-year-old with one-year left on his deal.
The information states that Lunin had previously been progressing well in talks to sign an extension on that contract until 2029, but since then the goalkeeper has been in ‘silence’.
Perhaps Arsenal have therefore spotted an opportunity to recruit a goalkeeper who could provide a genuine challenge for Raya in the long-term, an understated talent.
Although, some may feel it would be an odd choice to find a solution for Ramsdale’s predicament only then to create a very similar environment for the same to happen again.
Therefore, Arsenal’s interest in Espanyol’s Joan Garcia may be much more advisable, someone who is already biding his time as a talented number two.
