Ivan Toney has just one year remaining on his Brentford contract and the Englishman’s future under Thomas Frank is certainly no clearer.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are understood to be interested in Toney but not at the prices quoted by the London club.
HITC also reported that Atletico Madrid are keen on Toney this summer but the Premier League side were demanding £50 million.
However, if reports are to be believed this summer, Brentford have slashed their asking price for the Englishman this summer.
Ivan Toney’s price slashed by Brentford
According to a report from The Times, Brentford have reportedly slashed their asking price for the English forward.
The report states that Brentford would now consider offers of around £30 million for the forward which is a bargain considering the abundance of quality he possesses.
Back in April, HITC reported that Brentford expected Toney to depart the club this summer but there has been very little concrete speculation about the future of the Englishman.

We had reported that Spurs were in talks with Ivan Toney in case a deal for Dominic Solanke failed to materialise.
However, Solanke is closing in on a move to Tottenham after a fee agreement was reached with the English striker set to cost £55 million plus a further £10 million in add-ons.
This has left Toney in a difficult situation as there seem to be no takers for his services this summer despite Frank once labelling the forward as ‘remarkable’ to Brentford’s website.
Toney for £30 million would be a bargain
There are a plethora of Premier League sides that need a centre-forward in the ilk of Ivan Toney with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal being one of them.
Arsenal failed in their attempts to land RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko after the Slovenian put pen to paper on a new contract with the German side, but that contract does contain a release clause that comes into effect next summer.
The Gunners may well rely on Kai Havertz to be that number nine but Arsenal need something else and Toney would offer that.
If the report is to be believed, Arsenal could sign the forward for £30 million, which is the fee that the Gunners could be set to land if Eddie Nketiah moves to Marseille.
This deal is a no-brainer for Arsenal.
