ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS:Arsenal could do four transfer deals before Premier League opener against Wolves

Arsenal are expected to be busy in the final fortnight of the transfer window, having already bolstered their ranks with two signings.
David Raya has joined the club permanently from Brentford, having joined the club last summer on a loan-to-buy deal. The Spaniard quickly asserted himself as Mikel Arteta’s first-choice shot-stopper last season, and he will retain his spot between the sticks in the upcoming campaign.

Arsenal also won the race to secure the signature of Riccardo Calafiori following his sensational Euro 2024 campaign with Italy. The signing of the ex-Bologna star is unlikely to be the Gunners’ last piece of major business though. Express Sport takes a look at four more deals that could take place before Arsenal's first game of the season against Wolves…

Aaron Ramsdale to Ajax

After falling out of favour last season, Ramsdale is expected to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer. A host of Premier League outfits have been linked with the England goalkeeper, though The Athletic report that Ajax are also in the running after seeing a loan offer knocked back recently. The prospect of playing Champions League football at a top side is likely to prove persuasive to the ex-Sheffield United goalkeeper if a fee between the clubs.

Eddie Nketiah to Bournemouth

Following Dominic Solanke’s move to Tottenham, it quickly became clear that Bournemouth had shortlisted Nketiah as a replacement option. The Englishman’s move to Marseille recently collapsed, but a £30million fee is likely to be enough to prise him away from north London. The 25-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal and is open to a new challenge.

If Ramsdale departs, Arsenal are ready to pounce to sign a direct replacement. Osasuna’s Garcia has been shortlisted as the ideal candidate to play second fiddle to Raya next season and the groundwork is in place for an agreement to be struck.
