The Gunners have signed Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna and will soon be set to add Real Sociedad’s Mikel Merino to their ranks.
Arsenal have also allowed a number of first-team players to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
For instance, Emile Smith Rowe has been sold to Fulham, while Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga have been loaned out.
Arsenal midfielder Fabio Vieira is now being linked with a loan return to Porto, while striker Eddie Nketiah is said to be in talks with Nottingham Forest.
Regarding the latter, BBC Sport pundit Glenn Murray has made a big claim about what could happen if Arsenal do sell him.

Glenn Murray believes Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah could go on to be worth “a lot more money”
Murray, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, believes Nketiah will become successful – and “worth a lot more money” – with the right man-management elsewhere.
“I think he needs a club that’s going to show him love, that are going to play him week in week out regardless if he plays bad or not,” Murray said (24/8/2024, 7:35pm).
“They are just going to say, ‘you know what, 10 games, just go and have 10 games and do everything you can, score goals, make mistakes, whatever it takes’.
“I think if someone invests that time in him and that love in him, then he will be a success and he will be worth a lot more money.”
Nketiah set to remain in the Premier League
Nketiah, who Arsene Wenger has previously praised for his “fantastic” first touch, looks set to move away from Arsenal in the coming days.
It’s a shame to see a player set to depart from the club where he came through the ranks, but it’ll be the best thing for him in terms of his career.
Nketiah has never quite managed to become a regular starter for the Gunners, and it doesn’t look as though this will be the case going forward.
Besides, he’s set to stay in the Premier League, and Forest are a well-supported club with a lot of history.
In addition, Nottingham is a two-hour drive from London, just up the M1, so it’s not as though Nketiah will be that far from his home city.
