Club ready to ‘make decisive push’ to sign Arsenal player – Next few hours ‘decisive’ for deal

Bologna are keen on signing Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Serie A side have already done business with the Gunners this summer, selling them Riccardo Calafiori earlier in the window. They have already signed centre-back Martin Erlić from Sassuolo.

Bologna are still looking to strengthen the same position and have identified the Arsenal player as their main target.

Mikel Arteta and his men will make a trip to Villa Park as the Gunners take on Aston Villa later today. The Italian club are eager to find out whether the 24-year-old will be included in Arsenal’s squad for this clash.

If the north London club were to open the door for the former Spezia man to leave before the window closes, Bologna are ready to snatch him.

Di Marzio claims they are looking to sign the Poland international on loan with an option to buy. If he were to be left out of the squad to face Aston Villa, Bologna ‘will make a decisive push’ to sign him.

Bologna are hopeful their good relationship [because of the Calafiori deal] with Arsenal can help them secure Kiwior’s services. The ‘next few hours are decisive’.
