Kingsley Coman makes final Arsenal transfer 'decision' on deadline day deal

Kingsley Coman has made a final decision on his future at Bayern Munich amid transfer links to Arsenal and Saudi Arabia. The France international has been hoping to embark on a new challenge, which saw him become available during the summer window.

Signing a new wide player has become a priority for Mikel Arteta and Edu in the last few weeks. Brighton's Simon Adingra has been looked at, while Jadon Sancho of Manchester United and Chelsea's Raheem Sterling have also surprisingly emerged as potential additions.

The 28-year-old moving anywhere at all now seems to be off the table, with journalist Fabrizio Romano claiming Coman has decided to reject all approaches from the Middle East and Europe. Based on that, he will be staying at Bayern for the upcoming campaign.

With that decision likely communicated to interested parties, any late marquee deadline day arrivals at Emirates Stadium look unlikely. A new summer signing is certainly on the cards, though, with experienced goalkeeper Neto set to join on a season-long loan from Bournemouth after Aaron Ramsdale signed for Southampton.

Eddie Nketiah is another expected to see an exit announced after Crystal Palace agreed a £30million deal to sign him from Arsenal. Medical tests were conducted earlier this week, and though no confirmation of his switch has yet arrived, there does not appear to be any issues.

Reiss Nelson looked set to also seal an exit from his boyhood club after confirming his desire to move elsewhere. Leicester City and Fulham were linked, but his significant wages were the stumbling block in any deal, and as such, he looks set to remain at Arsenal.
