Liverpool saw three first-team players depart this summer Thiago Alcantara, Joel Matip and Adrian. As a result, some of the speculation has centred around the Reds potentially signing a new centre-back and midfielder.
The latest rumours do concern Liverpool being linked with a central defender, while another piece of speculation features a striker. The ECHO has taken a look at the latest Reds transfer rumours that have been doing the rounds over the last 24 hours.
Liverpool are continuing to be linked with a move for Juventus defender Gleison Bremer. The Reds have been credited with an interest in signing the centre-back this summer and the rumours are starting to ramp up.
According to Tutto Juve, Liverpool are seemingly not put off by Juventus' desire to keep Bremer at the club. The 27-year-old first joined the Serie A giants Torino in 2022 but is already being tipped to leave Turin this summer.
The report claims that Liverpool remain interested in signing Bremer but it is not known if they would be willing to meet the Serie A club's price tag. Bremer has a release clause in his contract that comes into effect in 2025, and in the meantime, an asking price of €70 million (£59 million) has been quoted for the centre-back.
Elsewhere, Liverpool have been handed a boost in their reported pursuit of Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres. Recent days have seen the Reds credited with an interest in signing Gyokeres, who has been heavily linked with Arsenal and Chelsea this summer.
According to Portuguese news outlet O Jogo, Liverpool have a chance to sign Gyokeres for a fee lower than his release clause. It's thought that the striker has an £86 million exit clause in his contract, but the Reds may have the chance to complete a deal at a lower price.
