Report: 'Outstanding' attacker with 12 league titles is now keen to join Arsenal this summer

The days are now ticking down to the start of Arsenal’s 2024/25 campaign and the same can be said about their summer window.

It has been a strange transfer window for a number of clubs across the league with the top three from last season barely doing any business at all.

Arsenal have only made one signing in Riccardo Calafiori as they await any potential other additions.

Just over two weeks remain in the summer market for clubs to get their business done and Mikel Arteta will be keen to see some further recruits added to his squad.

But it seems as if half of the work may already have been done when it comes to Arsenal’s potential pursuit of an experienced winger who is said to be keen on a possible move.

‘Outstanding’ winger wants to join Arsenal this summer
Whilst it has been a quiet summer for the Gunners, Edu Gaspar is still trying to get players over the line before the deadline at the end of the month.

And their hopes may have just been boosted over the last 24 hours after Martin Zubimendi’s decision to reject Liverpool’s interest.

But the days are now ticking down for Arsenal who really need to get to work with the focus soon about to shift onto the Premier League action.

According to Caught Offside, Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman would now approve a potential move to Arsenal this summer.

It is claimed the north Londoners would consider bringing in the France international on loan until the end of the campaign.

Coman is expected to leave Munich this summer with the German giants looking for a figure in the region of €30m/€40m (£25m/£34m) for his services.

But a loan deal could also be on the cards for Coman this summer with Arsenal said to be joined in their interest in the winger by Barcelona.

Arsenal could add real quality with Kingsley Coman
In potentially landing Coman, Arsenal would be signing a player who has now won 12 league titles across his career.

During his time with Bayern, the 28-year-old has been able to provide a return of 63 goals and 66 assists.

Only three of those goals came last season in the Bundesliga as Coman suffered massively through injuries which hindered his game time.

But he is a player who could offer solid backup to Bukayo Saka this season and provide Arsenal with some real winning experience inside their dressing room.

Bayern chief Jupp Heynckes has previously hailed Coman as ‘outstanding’ and he could certainly still offer something to Arsenal’s title charge this season.
