Whilst there have been some high-profile sales this market in the form of Fabio Carvalho and Sepp van den Berg leaving for Brentford in two separate deals, Liverpool are yet to open their wallets to bring in a new addition.
Although Liverpool have been linked with Mohamed Simakan with the Reds also working on signing Giorgi Mamardashvili, the final few days of the summer market could be quiet ones for fans of the Anfield giants.
Yet that could be about to change if a new Liverpool rumour is to be believed.

Liverpool ask for new information surrounding Teun Koopmeiners
According to TeamTalk, Liverpool remain keen on signing Atalanta star Teun Koopmeiners, with the Reds asking for new information on signing the €60m (£50m) rated Dutch international.
Noted by TuttoMercatoWeb as an ‘extraordinary’ midfielder, Koopmeiners has been linked with an exit all summer long, with many expecting the Serie A star to join Juventus as part of their summer overhaul.
However, Koopmeiners’ move to Turin seemingly looks off, with the Atalanta maestro now seemingly waiting for another team to come in for him in order to take him away from Bergamo.

Reds need to go all out to sign Koopmeiners

And Liverpool need to get going all out to sign the Dutch international, who under Arne Slot could be a dream signing for the new Anfield boss as part of his new-look Reds midfield.
With Koopmeiners valued around the same that Zubimendi’s release clause was worth, Liverpool will have the funds needed to move for the Atalanta star, who could be keen to make the move to Merseyside this summer.
