We have gone straight from a summer transfer window into an international break, which will lead to even more deliberation about what happened over the summer and if it will make a difference to where Arsenal will finish in the Premier League this season.
The Gunners signed David Raya permanently from Brentford, while Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino also joined as well as Neto and Raheem Sterling on loan from Bournemouth and Chelsea respectively.
Edu filled a number of holes for manager Mikel Arteta, but was it enough, given many supporters were crying out for a striker to be signed?
Arsenal started the new Premier League season well, with back-to-back wins against Wolves and Aston Villa before their progress was stunted somewhat by a draw with Brighton before the international break.
In that 1-1 draw, Declan Rice was sent off for the first time in his career, for a silly second yellow card - kicking the ball away as Brighton attempted to take a quick free-kick.
It was a quite ludicrous way to be sent off, but, by the letter of the law, was probably the correct decision. And that red card has consequences.
Straight after the international break, Arsenal travel the short distance to Tottenham for the North London Derby. Without Rice. And they will also be without the injured Mikel Merino, out for a couple of months having only just joined the club.
That nightmare transfer scenario could really hurt them in the title race, with Manchester City and Liverpool having a 100% record from their first three games.
What could it mean for the Gunners in the long-run? Should they have made more signings? How will they fare in the Champions League this time around? We want to know all this and more in our post-transfer window survey. You can have your say below.
