TuttoMercatoWeb now gives an insight into the efforts made by multiple clubs to sign the Arsenal player.
The centre-back has dropped down the pecking order at Arsenal, after Riccardo Calafiori’s arrival from Bologna in the summer.
Kiwior was on the radar of several Italian clubs, who were hoping to take him on a loan deal with an option to buy in the last window.
Bologna identified the 24-year-old as an option to replace Calafiori. Inter Milan, on the other hand, wanted the Poland international as a cover for Alessandro Bastoni.
The Serie A duo made formal offers to sign the defender on loan, but Arsenal rejected these proposals. Mikel Arteta’s side stood firm and only considered selling him for at least €20m.
It’s claimed Arsenal’s request was too high for Bologna and Inter, along with Fiorentina and Napoli, who showed strong interest in the Pole. The latter two also asked to sign him on loan, but the Gunners didn’t entertain them.
