The North Londoners signed Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino and Raheem Sterling, so it was certainly a successful window.
Though, there is still room for improvement across the squad and Arsenal chiefs are already plotting their Janaury business.
It’s just come to light that they’re preparing a bid for an Inter Milan defender.

Arsenal interested in Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck
According to Inter Live, Arsenal are interested in signing Inter Milan centre-back Yann Bisseck in the upcoming January transfer window.
The Gunners could make an offer worth up to £21m for the 23-year-old, who’s proved to be an outstanding signing for the Serie A outfit since his £5m switch from Aarhus in 2023.
It’s thought Mikel Arteta is the one driving this move as he’s been really impressed by Bisseck’s performances.
The German youth international, who has ‘remarkable speed’ per Breaking The Lines, is under contract until 2028.
Takehiro Tomiyasu has been linked with a move to Inter, so perhaps the two clubs could agree a swap deal.
Yann Bisseck profile
Football talent scout Jacek Kulig, who has likened Yann Bisseck to Raphael Varane, profiled the German a few years ago.
“Large, consistent, and physically strong player who feels very comfortable in contact situations,” Kulig wrote.
Able to play as a defensive midfielder if needed thanks to his vision, ability to read the game and tactical awareness.”
That last line is very interesting as Arteta is a big fan of versatility, so he may nudge Arsenal to make a formal bid in the coming months.
