The previous weekend, the same duo combined to gift Mikel Arteta's side all three points in the North London Derby against Tottenham. Saka has also assisted Thomas Partey and Kai Havertz after scoring in the first game of the season against Wolves while also setting up the latter for the opening goal in the clash.
With Saka having contributed to at least one goal in all five Premier League games thus far, that impressive feat will likely continue. In the next four weeks, the Gunners face Leicester, Southampton and Bournemouth, with Saka capable of having a huge say in all three fixtures.
If he can make an impact in challenging games away to both Man City and Tottenham, he can certainly do something against two newly promoted teams on home soil, especially considering he featured for just 45 minutes against the former.
Following Leandro Trossard's red card, Saka was the player sacrificed, with Ben White coming on in his place at half time despite having an injury. Saka was handed the captain's armband for the huge title clash, but that did not stop Arteta from making a ruthless decision in the hopes of clinging on to all three points.
His huge gamble very nearly paid off, with Arsenal holding onto their lead until John Stones tucked home the equaliser in the final seconds.
Despite his early withdrawal, Saka has made his Arsenal thoughts perfectly clear. Reposting an Arsenal Instagram update onto his story, he said: "Proud of the boys." Saka, reference to the travelling contingent, also wrote, "Thank you Gooners."
