EXTRAORDINARY:Bukayo Saka could be about to break Premier League record held only by Arsenal hero Thierry Henry

Arsenal return to the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League this afternoon (3pm) - and the Gunners are heavy favourites as they take on Leicester City.
The Foxes come to North London still searching for their first league win of the season under Steve Cooper. For Arsenal, they will look to get back to winning ways and put pressure on title rivals Manchester City at the top of the table - with City in lunchtime action at Newcastle United.

The Gunners were pegged back by City last weekend, with John Stones' added-time equaliser meaning that they had to settle for a point from the Etihad Stadium. The game ended in a 2-2 draw despite Mikel Arteta's side being down to 10-men for the whole of the second half.

The match saw Bukayo Saka provide yet another assist. Just before half-time, Arsenal showed their strength from set-pieces, once again, when Gabriel headed in Saka's corner to give the Gunners the lead.

That goal means that Saka has provided an assist in every Premier League game so far this season. It's a profitable run he will hope to continue against newly-promoted Leicester.

If he does so, then it would be a new Premier League record, as well. Saka is currently level with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry in being the only two players in Premier League history to register an assist in each of the opening five games of the season.

Extending that sequence to six games would see him overtake Henry, and become the first player to do so. Saka has been part of the Arsenal team to win their last four Premier League games against the Foxes, although he has not assisted against the opposition since a 2-0 win at the King Power Stadium back in 2021.

Saka, 23, captained Arenal for the City game. He has one goal to go with his five assists so far this campaign.
