Gary Neville left blown away by 'absolutley fantastic' Arsenal player during 1-0 win vs Tottenham

Arsenal picked up all three points against fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.
Gabriel scored the only goal of the game as he nodded in from a corner kick before defending resolutely to see out the game.

It was a battling display by Arsenal who soaked up a lot of pressure and one man in particular really impressed Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville.

Gary Neville, speaking on Sky Sports, waxed lyrical about Bukayo Saka’s work rate during the North London derby.

“His work off the ball defensively, I don’t think there are many better wide players in terms of understanding their position for the team and when they are out of position than him,” Neville said.

“Absolutely fantastic. The work he has done around Ben White has been wonderful.”

The 23-year-old also contributed going forward, too, curling in a brilliant corner for Gabriel to head home.

Despite being impressed by Saka, Neville opted to go with Gabriel as his Man of the Match.

“I am going to go with the goalscorer. Big moment in the game, but also the way in which Arsenal defend.

“They are rocks, those two at the back, Saliba and Gabriel.”

Arsenal return to action on Thursday as they travel to Italy to take on Serie A side Atalanta in the Champions League before another away clash against Manchester City on the weekend.
