Liverpool's next game cannot come soon enough and it's a good thing that they've been scheduled a Tuesday fixture during the first matchweek of the revamped Champions League.

The Reds will be keen to bounce back from their surprise Premier League defeat by Nottingham Forest when they take on AC Milan at the San Siro.

Arne Slot will be joined by one of Liverpool's players when he addresses the media in his Uefa press conference later today and we'll bring you updates from that right here.

Meanwhile, in transfer news, Liverpool is being linked with Lecce left-back Patrick Dorgu. The Danish defender is reportedly being monitored by a host of top clubs, of which Liverpool is one.
