'Real difference’: Manager now tells Liverpool they have an 'incredible talent' Arne Slot is yet to try out

Arne Slot’s tenure at Liverpool might only be three games old, yet there’s been enough to suggest that the Reds have landed themselves a perfect Jurgen Klopp successor.

The Dutch coach is perfect in the Premier League with three wins from three and zero goals conceded, with Slot already getting the best out of the likes of Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

With a Premier League title charge firmly on for Liverpool this season, Slot’s appointment at Anfield has been an inspiring move for the Reds, who have evolved on already from Klopp and what the German manager brought to the Merseyside giants.

And manager Paulo Sousa believes one Liverpool player could be a difference-maker for Slot.

Federico Chiesa tipped for big Liverpool breakout
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Swansea City manager predicted Federico Chiesa to impress for Liverpool having signed for the Reds this summer from Juventus for just £12m.

With Micah Richards also predicting Chiesa to light up the Premier League with Liverpool, the Italian international already has quite the fan club since moving to England, where the winger hasn’t even played yet for Slot.

Yet the excitement surrounding Chiesa is real, and Sousa, who managed the forward at ACF Fiorentina, is predicting big things from the Italian international in the coming years with Liverpool.

Sousa said: “I love Federico, I believed in him when he wasn’t even playing in the Primavera [Italy’s youth league]. I played him immediately against Juventus on the first day of the 2016 season. The injury a few years ago changed his career, but at Liverpool, he will make a real difference. He is an incredible talent.”

Chiesa will want to prove his worth at Liverpool
Chiesa’s move to Liverpool was one of the bargain transfers of the summer, with the Reds having a potential superstar on their hands if the winger can regain his fitness and form at Anfield.

And after a few disappointing seasons with Juventus, Chiesa will want to prove his worth at Liverpool, with the forward potentially perfect for the Reds under Slot as an attacking option.

Able to play in all three forward positions, Chiesa will be a jack-of-all-trades attacker for Liverpool, and the Italian will look to make one of the starting XI roles his own this season.
