The Egyptian’s Liverpool future appear to be up in the air after his comments to Sky Sports over the weekend, and, once again, that Saudi speculation is stepping up.
However, Salah apparently isn’t so keen on a move to the middle east.
Indeed, according to the Liverpool Echo, Salah doesn’t want to move to Saudi Arabia for one very specific reason.

According to the Echo’s report, Salah doesn’t want to move to Saudi Arabia due to the hit his reputation would take if he made this move.
Apparently Salah has been put off the move after seeing Sadio Mane become less and less relevant as a player since joining Al Nassr.
Mane, just two years ago, was the Ballon d’Or runner up, but these days, you rarely hear the £34m man discussed amongst the best players on the planet.
“Salah doesn’t want to be like Sadio in Saudi Arabia,” One source was quoted. “Even if it means more money.”
Money doesn’t mean everything
Of course, Salah would be tempted by the fortune that is on offer in Saudi Arabia, but the reality is that money doesn’t mean everything.
Yes, Salah could earn millions in Saudi, but he’s already earning tons at Liverpool, and his legacy is more important.
Salah isn’t far off becoming only the fourth player ever to hit 200 Premier League goals, and there are still a lot of trophies to win and compete for at Liverpool.
Salah’s legacy is secure, but he could go down as an all-time great of the game if he stays at this level for a few more years, and, sadly, a move to Saudi Arabia basically spells the end of any top-level player’s career.
