Report: What Raheem Sterling saw Arsenal players doing in the changing room after 1-1 vs Brighton

Arsenal were held to a disappointing score draw against Brighton and Hove Albion at the Emirates on the weekend.

The Gunners went ahead through Kai Havertz but Declan Rice’s controversial red card early in the second half changed the whole momentum of the game.

Joao Pedro then tapped home shortly after and it was the visitors who looked like finding the winning goal.

Ultimately, it ended in a draw and the referee was booed off the pitch for his decision to award a second yellow and a red to Rice, who was deemed to have kicked the ball away.

Now, it has just come to light what Raheem Sterling saw in the Arsenal dressing room post-match.
Raheem Sterling saw Arsenal players incensed by the referee
According to the Independent, Sterling was present in the Arsenal dressing room after the 1-1 draw with Brighton.

It’s understood he saw his teammates completely enraged at the referee’s decision to dismiss Rice and Arteta was even angrier.

Though, the Gunners boss was mindful of keeping calm before heading out to conduct media duties with broadcasters.

There is a feeling Sterling will be able to lift the spirits around the group and Arteta is excited by his arrival.

Having worked closely with the Spaniard at Manchester City, Sterling knows what to expect and will have two weeks (during the international break) to polish certain tactical intricacies.

Raheem Sterling could start vs Tottenham Hotspur
Sterling could make his Arsenal debut against fierce North London rival Tottenham Hotspur after the break.

The Chelsea loanee will be competing against Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard on the left, so his place in the starting 11 certainly isn’t a given
