The Premier League took the world by storm when it was founded in 1992 with the slogan ‘a whole new ball game’ and it’s introduction has catapulted England’s top division into the has the most watched and lucrative sporting league on the planet - featuring some of the best footballers and managers from all corners of the continent.

Manchester United were the first team to win the Premier League in 1993 and for a large period were the dominant force in England up until Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement from the game in 2013.
