Arsenal vs Southampton early injury news as 6 ruled out and 3 doubts, With Arsenal's predicted Line-up

Arsenal are back in action on Saturday when they face Southampton on the heels of Tuesday night’s huge Champions League win over PSG. The Gunners won 2-0 to kickstart their European campaign after drawing with Atalanta in their opener.
Mikel Arteta’s men made a statement with the win, and they will now turn attention back to the Premier League, just one point from top spot as things stand. Meanwhile, this weekend’s opponents Southampton are in 19th having picked up just one point so far. Here we round up the early injury news surrounding both clubs.

Bazanu ruptured his Achilles and will be out until at least February. Martin said at the time: "Gavin had an operation yesterday. He's ruptured his Achilles tendon so it was as bad as we feared. He will be out for around 9 to 10 months. I spoke to him before the operation and he wasn't in a good place but last night he was way more positive.

"We will rally behind him. We're really devastated for Gav. But he'll get through it and be stronger for it. We look forward to seeing him on Monday. Gavin has had a huge setback, there will be some dark and lonely moments over the next 10 months. We will support him and get around him."

Kamaldeen Sulemana - Out
Sulemana has an ankle injury that will keep him out until at least after the break. Martin has said: “Kamaldeen is still a bit away from being with us.”

Will Smallbone - Doubt
Smallbone is a doubt with a thigh injury. Russell Martin said last week: “[Will] Is still out for another week or two. Maybe on the other side of the international break or maybe the Arsenal game, but this week, no."

Martin Odegaard - Out
Odegaard remains out with an ankle injury and likely until after the international break. Norway boss Stale Solbakken has said this week: "He is far from being in the squad, we will have to see how far he gets during this international break. It is possible that he will come, but it depends a little on his rehabilitation. I have not spoken to him in the past four or five days."

Oleksandr Zinchenko - Out
Arteta says Zinchenko’s injury will take “weeks” and it’s likely the full-back will remain out until after the internationalbreak.

Takehiro Tomiyasu - Out
Tomiyasu has a knee injury that will keep him out until October, and likely after the international break.

Ben White - Doubt
Arteta said White would be assessed ahead of PSG. Ultimately, he did not make it, so logically, he will be assessed again ahead of this one.

Jurrien Timber - Doubt
Arteta has said: “He was unbelievable in the first half but he felt something muscular and he was uncertain and I didn’t want to take any risks. He’s been out for a year, he’s played a lot of minutes, probably more minutes than we wanted in the last few weeks and we have to manage him.”

Tierney remains out with his hamstring injury, but he is in the final stages of his recovery.
