Bad day for 10-man Arsenal as Cherries pop their unbeaten Premier League record

Second-half goals from Ryan Christie and Justin Kluivert saw Bournemouth earn a 2-0 win over 10-man Arsenal.

The Gunners’ bid to go top of the Premier League table took a blow in the 30th minute when defender William Saliba was sent off for a last man foul on Evanilson, following a VAR consultation.

Bournemouth were able to capitalise on their extra player in the 70th minute when Christie smashed a brilliant effort into the top corner and Kluivert wrapped up victory from the penalty spot nine minutes later, inflicting a first defeat of the season on Mikel Arteta’s visitors.
