Bukayo Saka injury return theory emerges as Arsenal star 'spotted' arriving in Bournemouth

The chances of Bukayo Saka featuring in Arsenal's Premier League clash against Bournemouth look to have increased following a video that circulated on social media. The 23-year-old has been a major doubt in the lead-up to the clash at Vitality Stadium after leaving England camp early because of a hamstring injury.

Saka suffered the muscular issue last Thursday, which means he has had eight days to recover before the Gunners' next outing. A positive update by Three Lions head coach Lee Carsley eased concerns, with Mikel Arteta also able to provide one on Friday.

"It's not a serious injury, and he's evolving well," he said in a press conference when asked for the latest on Saka. "He was probably good enough to play with the national team second game. We have some big tests today [on Friday], so we are hopeful."

Like Saka, there are plenty of other Arsenal stars dealing with fitness issues such as Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jurrien Timber and Gabriel Martinelli. Arteta provided updates on all three stars but opted not to confirm or deny whether they would be able to feature against Bournemouth

Kai Havertz and Ben White are also in that category but the likelihood of both getting some minutes against the Cherries, alongside Saka, has gone up significantly. On Friday evening, X account @FPLTommyGun posted a video of the Arsenal players arriving at their hotel on the south coast.

The 48-second video clearly shows that both Havertz and White have travelled and right at the end of the clip, a player with his hood up quickly walks into the hotel. It cannot be said for certain it was Saka, with some suggesting it could be Timber, but some children watching them arrive can be heard shouting his name.
