Conor McGregor accused of 'taking it too far' with Bukayo Saka as new footage of UFC star at Arsenal emerges

The former UFC double champion is never far from the spotlight despite not having fought in the octagon since his knockout defeat to Dustin Poirier in July 2021, a fight in which he suffered a broken leg.

Since then, despite seemingly having a fight booked in to face Michael Chandler this year, McGregor is still yet to return to competition having suffered injury during his training camp ahead of the bout.
While in attendance at the Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois fight at Wembley two weeks ago, he gave a clue over his return, telling DAZN: “It will be 2025, we'll see. My opponent I had scheduled has got rematched.

"It is what it is. My job is to go to the gym, be in shape. One thing is for sure, I will be 100% ready."

On Tuesday evening, the 36-year-old was present at the Emirates for Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over PSG in the Champions League, as you can see in the video below.

Although the football was impressive, it was McGregor’s post-match antics that caught the attention of fans. The Irishman appeared to engage in a play-fight with Gunners winger Saka but in the eyes of some supporters, it appeared as if he had forgotten it was not a real bout.

At one point, after putting together a few moves mimicking his exploits in the octagon, he struck the England man with a kick to the back of his leg, which caused Saka to step away before McGregor jokingly apologised to the 23-year-old.

The pair then shook hands and both seemed amused by their antics. Clips also emerged showing McGregor, Saka and Declan Rice passing the ball to one another on the Emirates turf.

Fans weighed in with their take on the clip with one saying: "Arteta's gonna have Khabib [Nurmagomedov] at every game from now on."
