Report: Arsenal looking to push transfer forward to January with 'extraordinary' striker on the radar

Arsenal’s 2024/25 campaign has certainly been turbulent through the opening couple of months as they sit four points off the lead.
This weekend’s game against Liverpool could provide the Arsenal fans with a big indication as to where their side are at.

A win for the Gunners would drag Arsenal right back into the mix but a defeat would see Arne Slot’s side extend their lead on Arsenal to seven points.

As the weeks go by, Arsenal are being forced to play without some of their top players through both injury issues and suspensions.

And there may well be the feeling that more could have been done over the summer transfer window to bolster this squad.

Arsenal looking to sign striker in January
It has been a solid start to the season for Kai Havertz who has been able to net four times in his eight Premier League appearances.

However, the same cannot be said for Gabriel Jesus who has failed to score in any of his 10 appearances across all competitions.

And it seems as if Edu Gaspar is now ready to push next summer’s striker plans forward with a potential move for Dusan Vlahovic.

According to Caught Offside, Arsenal are keen to sign a new striker in the winter market as they are not prepared to wait for Benjamin Sesko in the summer.

But with Vlahovic only having less than two years remaining on his deal, the Serbia international has become a player of real interest.

It is claimed the Italian outfit are keen not to lose Vlahovic for on the cheap which could well play in the Gunners’ hands over the coming months.

With the start to the 2024/25 campaign which Vlahovic has made, the 24-year-old could provide Arsenal with a big improvement.
